Original works draw inspiration from Midwest impressions and activities - the excitement of summer sports, the fresh scents of spring awakening, the warmth of a hot cup of soup in the bitter winter, or the crisp autumn colors.

Portals, Planets, and Petri Dishes

Angela Piehl's collage-based prints and drawings evoke a range of possibilities. Piehl explores the medium of collage and its aesthetic as a metaphorical parallel to the process of composting-- a natural recycling of matter in which a prolific range of transformations occur.

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
