Historic Artspective, 2025 | 3rd Edition

In Historic Artspective viewers explore their past, connect to their history, and share their story. This exhibit features a selection of unassuming artifacts from the Marathon County Historical Society Collection. Regional artists were invited to create a work of art in their respective medium to be displayed next to its historic item. Come explore the history of Marathon County's past and be inspired by its present.

Robert Martin’s paintings are a revisitation of the pastoral spaces they grew up in, and a documentation of the queerness that exists, but is perhaps not shown, within rural America.

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
