March 24 - May 27, 2023

Wisconsin Craft is proud to announce their 2023 Members’ Biennial Exhibition “Regeneration”. The theme of “Regeneration” was chosen to highlight the regeneration of the oldest arts organization in the state as WI Craft. Additionally, the changes in their members’ personal and professional lives over the last several years have led to renewed sense of purpose and/or new directions in many of their individual art practices. Artists are encouraged to submit artwork that reflects ways in which they have regenerated their work or practices since our last Biennial in 2020.

The Art of Master Printmaker Paul Yank's Studio Artists

Featured Artists

March 24 - May 27, 2023

Five Wisconsin printmakers have learned the techniques of someone who has mastered this craft while developing their own unique, individual styles. Using the printmaking techniques of Monoprinting and collagraphy taught by Paul Yank can be witnessed in the works of the contemporary printmakers included in this exhibition.

For over half a century, master artist Paul Yank worked with and inspired artists from his studio at the Ozaukee Art Center in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. When he passed in 2020, he left behind a legacy of art for Wisconsin.
