Great for ages 6-13

In this three week course, students will make their drawings come alive by learning technical drawing skills. They’ll create magic with the use of pencil through the use of line, value, and perspective. Inspiration for students’ work will come from observation and photographs.

Students will first practice their observational skills by creating a black and white drawing with value and arranging their own still life to create a compelling composition. The following week, students will expand their skills by drawing their favorite animals with reference pictures. The third week, students will have the chance to learn about anatomy and practice portraiture. All supplies included.
